Five & Five

Louisa tagged me to post 5 photos of myself that I like (and that's a damn tall order!!) and then post 5 things I like about myself.

Of course, she tagged me *ages* ago, but I'm only getting around to it now:



This was taken in March 2002. I gave birth to Megan in June that year. I loved how people's eyes would just about pop out of their heads when they heard I was almost 6 months pregnant!



This was about a week after Michael was born in June 2003. Can't believe how young I looked!!



I loved my hair this long. Think I'll grow it again...



Rare proof of the fact that I am capable of being a fun parent too!



This was taken on my 27th birthday - one of the few birthdays I've really enjoyed.We went to a seafood buffet and then to Rock Bottom - the only rock club in Dubai - where I got plastered on their signature Bullfrog cocktails...


And now for 5 things I like about myself. Hmmm....

1. My skin is super resistant to stretch marks. There's not a single stretch mark on my tummy in spite of 4 pregnancies, and the few marks on my bum & thighs are barely noticeable on my light skin.
2. I can roll with the punches & keep going, even if it gets really, really hard sometimes. I survived various forms of abuse from my father's second wife as a child, the loss of a parent at age 12, hunger, rape, an abusive boyfriend, being broke, being retrenched, giving birth naturally to a breech baby .... And I'm still standing.
3. My legs.
4. I can stay calm in a crisis.
5. I make the most beautiful babies in the world! Look:
